Noise and swearing at the back of flat but there is a cafe/pub so it was a smoke area I think

Location was perfect for us as staying near family so ideal. The apartment was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. An enjoyable stay and would definitely book again.

Windows had only thin blinds which did nothing to shade from the street lights or morning light. Main bedroom had no working light. No parking. Karaoke in the bar below until the early hours which meant sleep was impossible for our family.

Well presented on first look. Looked homely and comfortable. Kitchen appliances good - although didn't any except kettle. Comfy bed. Decent lounge.

Not suitable for small children Above the actual bar with live music/karaoke making it very difficult to sleep despite having TVs on to drown out. Floor vibrating. Heating and hot water wasnt working bar staff came to help who was lovely but very inconvienent and had to ask a member of the public to come in to see why it wasn't working. 2 windows wouldn't close properly, bar lady helped and thankfully managed to close them in the end with a lot of wiggling. Communal stairway automatic lights didn't last too long, dangerous on stairs. Communal roof skylight window wide open. Very windy and draught kept banging front door open and closed all night even with towels, pillow and chair against. Parking awful 😖 round the back, very tight, millimetres off from a nasty scrape from a wall. Ended up parking in railway carpark, missing the 'no overnight parking' sign so expecting a hefty 60 quid fine. External door heavy and slammed Blinds broken, one bedroom had voices not curtains. Check in confusing, going into the bar and getting staff to take you to the apartment. Check out was totally non existent. Had to post keys through the letterbox into the bar as noone there until after 11am.

Location and size of property

We had no hot water for the whole stay, despite being in contact with the owner and his plumber. The property was tired and in need of some TLC. The bar below was loud most nights. Wouldn't recommend for a family.

Very clean and well equipped apartment, cosy and comfortable kids loved it, separate TV with Amazon Fire Stick for Netflix was true benefit. Everything you possibly need is there

We have stayed on Saturday night so it was rather loud being on the top of the pub and night life blasting outside , owners were however very accommodating and allowed for 2h later check out so kids could get decent sleep. All in all a very good stay

Excellent location and lots of room in the apartment for our group. Very clean and comfortable.
