Great location, spacious apartment. Comfortable, clean, secure. Gives a lot more freedom and room than a hotel stay would.

Parking is difficult, but space in York is at a premium.

The apartment was exactly what we wanted ideal location as close to the centre. Very clean and modern.

Nicely furnished and comfortable beds

No parking or shower/hand wash in either bathrooms. Balcony was dirty. Lights kept turning off in the bathroom. No bath mat as my husband fell in bath.

First of all, we'd like to express our appreciation for this apartment, which we found very comfortable, well-furnished, and conveniently located near the city centre. The reception staff was also very kind and helpful.

However, we can't help but mention a few issues we encountered, which were particularly negative. The first complaint concerns the instructions sent for picking up the apartment key. The code in the first link was incorrect. Once you realized the error, the second message sent to us with the same instructions should have clearly stated the reason for the resending, especially since the correct code had two numbers reversed and the correction wasn't immediately apparent. This caused us a lot of difficulty and inconvenience. The second very significant complaint concerns the inability to ventilate the living room. A five-day stay in a space where you cook makes the environment completely unhealthy. Whatever the reasons, whether pigeons entering the living room or dangerously large windows, as reported to us at reception, this is a problem that needs to be addressed. As for the pigeons, they are indeed numerous and annoying. Even some basic amenities, such as garbage bags and dish soap, are missing.
