The Moonlight at Ryedale House

Nice decorated and styled apartment. Comfort beds and sofas. We didn't use any of cooking equipment so I cannot comment on those. Spacious and clean.

I had contacted the owners prior to booking and also once booked to ask if we can store our luggage before check in and also after check out. I was assured that this was not a problem and that we simply needed to speak to the concierge on arrival. The code for the door to get into the building didn't work and there was no concierge to allow us in. We got in only because another resident opened the door for us. I called the contact number we were given as there was no concierge and was told that there wasn't one and that we couldn't leave our luggage anywhere. I was told to find a luggage storage place instead. This meant on our arrival and departure day we had to lug around our cases around York. Really soured our stay and frustrating when I had contacted them prior and was assured it would be fine

Great, location, beautiful apartment with everything you need.

Shower in one of the bedrooms ran too hot to use unfortunately but the shower in the other bedroom was fine so wasn’t too bothered.

Lovely helpfully lady in reception main larger room was lovely great location.

Plenty of places to eat

Enjoyed this apartment. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow. Apartment is lovely with 2 en-suite double rooms (maybe King Size beds?), a third separate WC, and a large kitchen/lounge area. Kitchen fully equipped, but we didn't use it. Large TV, but programming had to be accessed via apps on the Smart TV. Very clean. Good location. All the sights we wanted to see were within a 15 minute walk. Some lovely restaurants very close by (Marzanos, Blue Barbakan, Spark food court)

Underfloor heating was too hot and instructions to change settings did not work. Couldn't access balcony to ventilate room as door from lounge was locked (only access was via a bedroom). Hand soap in bathroom hadn't been refilled. Reported all issues via email during stay. I'm still waiting for a response! One of the showers only ran at scalding. Couldn't be changed. Having said all that, would be very happy to stay again. Positives outweighed any negatives

The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Loads of facilities and great parking. The staff were great, you only had to ask and they would be happy to help straight away. All in all the apartment was brilliant and we had a great time, our 2 boys loved it and the decor and bathrooms were beautiful. Highly recommend and will be returning!

The only things I would critique is that the apartment wasn't clean in some areas and we couldn't access the balcony from the living room. Also the kitchen tap needs fixing as it's very wobbly. However, these are only niggles and I'm sure they will be sorted by the management company

Location was brilliant, central to everything, but not noisy. Lots of space and good facilities.

The sofas need upgrading. Very, very low, uncomfortable, worn and no support at all. Spent most of time sitting on very comfy dining chairs.
