Romantic Cotswold Cottage- dog friendly and village location

Really well equipped. Well maintained. Views from the bedroom were beautiful. Lovely location. The communication with the host was superb ensuring we had everything we needed and understood all instructions.

The location was great

The floor in the lounge was very dirty. the first thing our dog found was an old dog toy under the sofa which was really dirty and when we looked under the sofa there was an old dusty Christmas decoration and it had clearly not been cleaned for a long time as we stayed in February. I know this was an old property but the bathroom in the lounge area was not ideal and if you need to use the facilities at night the stairs to it were lethal in the dark. I cannot complain about the stairs as it was quite clear that these were tricky on the description but they really were tricky! What was misleading on the description was the enclosed dog garden. We like to get up and open the door for our dog to pop outside first thing but as the area was away from the cottage we had to get dressed and take her for her morning wee which we didn't find very relaxing. I am sorry I couldn't be more positive. :(

The small personal touches around the cottage were lovely, and added to the welcoming feel of the cottage. The hosts had put in effort to provide as much detail about the cottage and it's facilities, as well as local attractions and amenities which made it easy to plan activities.

Location was good Nice welcome basket.

Parking, creaky floors & bed, steep scary stairs…the layout.. Sink in bathroom kept blocking..noisy neighbours.. Recycling left In cupboard from previous people staying…

Absolutely perfect for a few days away, got its cottage quirks which we loved. Cute views out the top window. Well equipped with everything you might need, from books, DVDs, board games, kitchen equipment etc. Lovely touch with the food hamper and dog treats too x

Mega picky and definitely wouldn’t stop us from staying here again but the sofa wasn’t the most comfortable, the fire is so gorgeous you want to stay there all night but it wasn’t one to curl up on.

It was lovely to have bread ,cookies ,jam ,etc. the property was delightful ,and very cozy , and it had all the equipment in the kitchen you could ever need, it was decorated very good . I would stay again , but the only thing for me were the stairs, only because of my age and what i have been through over the last year, but younger people would have no problem.

We stayed at the cottage over Christmas and we were honestly so impressed by the property. It was super cosy, with everything you need. Facilities are amazing we weren’t missing anything. We loved the attention to detail with things like games, bowls and poop bags left for our dog, Christmas decorations and goodies for us. Location is perfect as well with a shop only a few meters away and a few lovely pubs. Short drive to broadway and Stratford upon Avon. Few lovely walks around straight from the property. We would definitely love to come back one day.

Our dog wasn’t a big fan of the stairs as they are a bit steep and slippy but it wasn’t an issue. Recommend bringing slippers for some grip.
