Berty's Cottage Home Stay

Chambre très confortable et bien aménagée. C'était la première fois au Sri Lanka qu'il y avait des cintres pour pendre les vêtements au lieu d'être obligé de gérer sa valise au sol. Petit déjeuner et éventuellement dîner typiquement sri lankais et très bien préparés par les hôtes. Berty et Hilda étaient au petit soin, organisant tout, vérifiant régulièrement si tout allait bien.

Le seul défaut de cet hébergement est le manque d'accès à l'extérieur, pas de jardin ni même de fenêtres vitrées. Tout est caché par des rideaux et si vous voulez vous détendre après les visites c'est dans le lobby et à la lumière artificielle.

The breakfast is so delicious and it’s different every day so you get to taste different local dishes. The room is basic, but it has everything that you need. No mosquitos! The hosts are lovely people and super helpful.

Too minor to mention

Berty and Hilda’s place is a true gem. Ithe accommodations are simple and exceptionally clean, their service is above and beyond and the food is better than anything I ate the entire time I was in Sri Lanka.

Communication with the hosts was easy. The breakfast was exceptional.

Host molto gentili e disponibili nell’organizzarci al meglio la nostra permanenza e ad aiutarci in caso di necessità. Colazione fatta su richiesta nostra davvero favolosa ed abbondante! Pulizia della camera e bagno ottima, ci ha fatto piacere entrate e sentire profumo di pulito. Wi-Fi eccellente. Posizione ottima, 10/15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Jaffna.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Berty‘s Cottage war absolut fantastisch. Die Gastgeber sind unfassbar bemüht und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns Tipps gegeben und uns bei der Organisation von Tuk-Tuk-Fahrten geholfen. Dabei waren sie jederzeit absolut zurückhaltend und niemals aufdringlich. Das Essen ist unglaublich gut, auch hier sind sie auf unsere Wünsche über ein gewöhnliches Maß hinaus eingegangen. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt weiter und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Dass das Tor durch die Gastgeber geöffnet wird, stört wirklich überhaupt nicht. Eine Nachricht - und die beiden haben sich sofort darum gekümmert.
