It was extremely clean and the owner was exceptionally nice, we've had an amazing time and we will definitely come back in the future and the location is great

We loved everything about the location and our stay, we felt very welcomed by Jan and Ian and all of their animals. It was super cosy and they had thought of absolutely everything that you could need for your stay.

fantastic location & breathtaking scenery. Cosy, clean, warm & welcoming shepherds hut. Outdoor seating area next to the horses paddock. 2 lakes to walk around with a warm cosy seating pod with table/chairs, lights & heater. The host was fantastic, very welcoming on arrival and very attentive to small details within the property. Tea/coffee/milk, fresh juice, biscuits and bread stocked which is a very kind touch. WiFi available and tv within the hut included with Netflix.

Beautiful settings very quiet and lovely relaxing break

Rating this property anything but top marks would be underselling it! From the second we arrived, the hosts made us feel exceptionally welcomed! Ian and Jan went above and beyond to make our stay special, including introducing us to their array of animals on property, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The property was located in the middle of the most picturesque area that provided the most beautiful location for the ‘dome’ seating area, where we enjoyed watching the sunset in the evening! Little extras included with the property, like fresh eggs (delivered daily by the hosts via their chickens), juice, milk, jams and other essentials really did make the difference to our stay. The range of board games provided in the hut were also very entertaining, which we enjoyed playing with the door/ windows open listening to the quiet of the countryside (with the occasional sounds of animals!) Ian and Jan really added the personalised touch and took time to talk with us which was really appreciated. We are absolutely hoping to return!
