N Broad Studios

Great location!

The studio was exactly as advertised. All furniture in the photos was present in the room. It was clean and spacious. We weren't able to find street parking, but thankfully the owner has a store lot next to the studio so we were able to park close by. Communication with the owner of the studio was excellent. We received quick replies to all our messages and felt that if we had any issues they would be resolved immediately.

The studio was VERY loud. We had a parade pass by each night of our stay that was so loud we couldn't even watch TV. We could hear every little thing going on around the studio, when people walked by on their cell phones, we heard their conversations, when cars were parking in front of the studio, we'd hear the doors close and all their conversations. It was just a loud place. The description did state that there was a chance for city noise, so we brought ear plugs, and thankfully, it all died down around 11pm so we were able to get some sleep, but it was much louder than we expected even after reading the reviews.

Bus and streetcar needed to get to French Quarter (but a quick cab ride)

Absolutely exceptional location- able to walk to Bourbon st, fairgrounds, French quarter, etc. Way easy to check in n out with key codes. Everything you needed amenities wise (kitchen, washer, dryer, tub, table). Great little patio to enjoy the fresh air. Very responsive and helpful host!

The ac was acting up a bit. Host's response was prompt, but the system seemed off the rest of the trip. I'm sure they'll address it 😊

This was a lovely place to stay and the host, Kim, was very helpful and at hand to answer any questions any time. The apartment is quiet with a big enough kitchen and dining area and a small yard to sit. Kitchen is fully equipped with complimentary coffee and snacks. There is a spacious wardrobe and TV with Netflix. I particularly liked the washing/dryer machine as I stayed for almost two weeks! The apartment is located in a busy road which is not particularly interesting to walk but it is in the middle of two lovely neighborhoods, Treme and St John Bayou which are worth a stroll around. I thought it was the right distance from the busy French Quarter and the Treme and St Johns Bayou areas. It is also close to Lafitte greenway that is nice to walk to get to the centre. By bike the FQ is only 8min away and there is a dedicated cycle lane. I didn't use a car but the bus connections to the apartment were very good, and buses are super quick.

The bed mattress was quite soft and I have lower back issues so this was slightly uncomfortable. I would also have liked a permanent light at the yard as I wanted to sit outside late in the evening a couple of times - although I do acknowledge that there may have been one that I didn't find and didn't ask! There is a motion detector light that goes off once you sit down.

Great space! Lovely and very responsive host. Fabulous vegan restaurant 1.5 blocks away.

It was overall a great experience we did get blocked in and had to Uber at one time due to people using the parking accommodations for a block party that was happening up the road, but we were able to come back and we were able to get our car out after
