Having the house to myself.

The listing states "close to city", it doesn't tell you that it is about a 30 minute uphill walk from the Railway Station. The gate to the front of the property does not have the house number on it, nor was there a number on the front door. The bed in the picture is not the one in the property (although that doesn't really matter). The draws in the kitchen were not as well stocked with cutlery as shown on the website. The toilet seat in the downstairs toilet was broken, and there was a lot of stuff all over the floor; the blinds in the bedroom were broken and so could not be opened. I am not sure when the place was cleaned last, but it was very grubby, with the fridge, freezer and cooker particularly dirty, to the point that I didn't use the cooker, and the freezer draws were full of water, it looked as if it had been defrosted, but the water not emptied away. Neither of the bathroom doors would close, and the drainage from the shower needed to be cleaned out as the water did not run away very fast, I was convinced that if I stayed in the shower for too long the water would run out of the tray and all over the floor.

The property was very clean and comfortable. There was good communication with the host and the location was perfect for me. It was very good value for money too.

A hairdryer would have been perfect.

Very spacious and had everything u needed

The location of the property was good. Not too far from the centre of Nottingham.

The bed creaks and rattles at the slightest movement and caused me to wake multiple times throughout the night. The front gate that doesn’t stay closed, the rubbish scattered outside the front door, the freezer that is frosted over, the half drunk carton of milk in the fridge, the bathroom door handle that doesn’t work, no blind in the bathroom (that is in full view of a path and main road), the bedroom blind that is broken and doesn’t wind up, and the amount of cobwebs and spiders in the house, the cigarette ash in the drawer of the bedside table. All of this topped off by unhelpful owners, when I brought the issue up to them they dismissed it and was not interested in the slightest. Had to go through booking.com to get a refund
