The Garden room

Well maintained and clean. The family were very friendly and helpful. Easy to park. Nice supply of breakfast cereals, a loaf with jam and butter, and bananas plus tea, coffee and milk.

There is no hanging space for clothes, but for a short stopover, we managed. Couldn't get the hang of the temperature on the tap in the toilet - nearly burnt myself once. It's an age thing, but the hill up to the high street was a puff.

We had the most wonderful stay in the garden room! It was spotlessly clean, cosy, and felt so private – a perfect little retreat. The river was absolutely beautiful; we were hoping to spot the Kingfisher, but it just gives us the perfect excuse to come back! The location was ideal – just a few minutes’ walk into town, with plenty of lovely places to explore just a short drive away. Our hosts were so lovely and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We truly had the best time – thank you so much for such a special stay!

Towels could do with being upgraded.

Very well fitted out. High standard of finish. Made the most of the available space. Complementary breakfast was a nice touch. Very considerate hosts.

Just too small. Bed was too soft for me

Comfortable room and very friendly and helpful hosts, but not overly so. The accommodation is separate from their own home giving plenty of privacy.

I was caught out by the lack of hot oven, just good microwave, but they helped that by cooking the only thing I had that needed an oven in theirs. Not a negative so much as something to be aware of.

Kimmy & James were so lovely & welcoming , nothing was to much trouble. The accommodation was clean & cosy in a great location to the town with lots of lovely pubs & places to eat. A lovely breakfast hamper with milk & bread, porridge & fruit was waiting for us on arrival...we had a fantastic time & will definitely be going back again next year.. 👍

Bed was low down and moved about a bit tv could do with a ariel to get normal channels

A very enjoyable stay in a truly beautiful part of the world. Our hosts couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was what we wanted. it to be A perfect place to stay to explore the area which was enhanced by the comfort, lay out and cleanliness of the Garden Room - Would definitely stay again.

One small downside was no live TV which was not an issue on this occasion as the weather was simply glorious but would be helpful in the winter months
