Rooms in Surrey

The room itself was nice and as expected. Private with little interaction from the host(s), which I prefer.

It might’ve been nice to have a microwave in the room. It is also listed as a “private bathroom” but I’m fairly certain it was used by the hosts while I wasn’t in the house, which I’d usually be fine with if it weren’t for the fact that it was rather evident someone had been there (toilet wasn’t flushed properly after I returned from work on 2 separate occasions). List the bathroom as a “shared bathroom” or encourage the other residents in the house not to use that bathroom while there is a guest booked. It’s a shame because the private bathroom is one of the main reasons I booked the room. I also wasn’t aware of a code access to the key by the door, and i think check-in directions and codes should be given before arrival.

There was no milk left in the fridge but teabags. The sheets looked quite worn and it was noisy from the family and the porch light kept me awake.

Room was clean and good. excellent for short stay

Only setback was restroom which could have been attached to the room

The room was good and clean but the bathroom is separate.It is in walkway for the host and the occupants both can enter

The host was non charlatan

It's £10 for a taxi to thorpe park or to the nearest station to go to London, it's got a private entrance; we wasn't bothered by the owner while there which was nice. The quilt was lovely and so was the TV. nice little kettle with a fridge and they had a bidet but no bath. The owner seemed flexible with us and the room was well designed (apart from the plugs and heater) it was clean and usable and cosy for a night or 2. The use of a washer and cleaning stuff was handy and it's right outside Your door so it doesn't seem like a inconvience using it. I'd recommend this room to people who are visiting thorpe park for the day or travelling to London for the day and need a easy place to rest their head.

The bed was super low and "broken?" It felt really uncomfortable wirh a metal pole down the centre, only one thin pillow too.. there was only one usable plug socket in the whole room, there was one on the ceiling? And about 6ft off the floor on the wall? The room was also freezing. There was a plug in heater in there but it just didn't kick out enough power. It was also advertised with a bath ( I need one for my M.E) and there was no bath. A few flaws but for the price it was a week kept clean room, designed well (apart from the plugs) and the owner seemed kind. I'd definitely stay again if there was a few things changed.
