Really lovely homestay in the beautiful village of Ta Van. The bungalows were clean, comfy, spacious and stayed warm, with a heated duvet and great hot water supply. The surrounding views are stunning and the owner is very nice, friendly and really helpful. She helped us with taxis and was accommodating to vegetarian and vegan diets, as well as offering free snacks and letting us use the indoor seating area for as long as we wanted. Would highly recommend staying here.

You get to stay in a basic bungalow in the middle of rice fields looking out to the mountains in a smaller town. The host was super sweet. Very good price for this experience! We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes. There's plenty restaurants around.

Very comfortable stay here, the bungalow was very nice and the restaurant serves great food and local wine. I like the location in this village some nice bars and restaurants around.

Perfectly located to go for a hike in the rice fields, we booked it through the homestay and had a fantastic day with Mimi (so please ask for Mimi to do your rice field hike, she is so lovely). The homestay serves food but there are also plenty of other restaurants in few minutes walking distance. The room was cozy and had wifi connection. They were super friendly and helpful at the homestay. We had a great local experience.

not possible to open window in bathroom and no AC, so after showering it was very humid and foggy in the bathroom (and room).

It's such a great place to stay! Feels very local and the people working here are just amazing (shout out to amazing Zing!). They welcomed us in the middle of the night, let us play games til late hours and let us shower after we checked out. Room is clean, quiet and comfortable. Most importantly, please take the trekking tour and ask for Pong! She was the best tour guide and best person - she's doing absolutely fantastic work, cannot recommend the tour enough! Bear in mind that it is outside of Sapa and getting there by taxi is at least 200k (the staff will arrange that for you), but it's absolutely a good thing if you're looking for a more local experience. We'd come back anytime!
