Luxury Shirley Apartments close to Solent Uni and Southampton Central Train Station

I chose this property for the location as I was visiting my son who lives in the next road. It was adequate for my needs as I only used it for sleeping.

The description "luxury" was rather misleading as there were several things that needed attention. The main picture in the living room was propped up on the floor and remained there for the whole week. Curtains were too small for window so living room was overlooked even when curtains drawn. Promised garden was tarmac with weeds. There were no instructions for any appliances or contact details for landlord. Parking was shared with flat next door so I needed to check each evening that I wouldn't be blocked in the following morning.

Location quiet close to bus stops for a very good bus service. Very clean comfortable flat.

Difficult to unlock flat door. Difficult to close outside door without banging it shut.

The apartment was clean.

There was no number on the front door, and I had a hard time figuring the actual entrance. There was also a confusing sign which said to access the building from the next street, which was the back of the building. So I went there in the rain, trying to access the building, to no avail, until I decided to try the front again and was able to get in. Please put the number 47 on the door (and not just on the buzzer) to prevent people from experiencing this hassle. Upon getting into the apartment, the room was cold. When I called for heating, they said they had turned off the heating for the year. I thought they could provide a space heater but they just hung up the phone not caring about my welfare. I am originally from the tropical region and found the place to be cold. Also the apartment was just basic and not luxury. The toilet was very old and had a damp smell, no soap provided. My room was next to the door and was always affected by the noise of everyone who opens the front door. The one that broke the camels back was the fact that the wifi went out a day to the last day of my stay. I had business emails to catch up on and meetings and was very disappointed. We called the host contact number a couple of times but there was no response. This was very disappointing.

The bed is in the kitchen, no tables no chairs, can’t put any cloth except on floor, no shower gel, noisy doors from neighbours, the locks/key system needs to be repaired, always lucky when the key worked, the main door doesn’t open and close properly Backyard is a mess Totally overpriced, far away from luxury

Accommodation was described as luxury however was inadequate. Tiny en suite and the mattress was so uncomfortable that it caused me a back injury.

What I really liked was the things in the apartment, which are in a very pleasant format and the ease of entering just

Man, what's Jake like, it's a closed apartment and on summer days he didn't put in a fan or an event machine so that in order to generate sales there it would be pleasant because it was very hot at night for three nights in a row and there was a power outage that kept going off the alarm goes off all the time, the noisy neighbor downstairs is smoking marijuana and the marijuana enters the apartment and without talking to the attendant who is super ignorant the owner of the apartment who keeps giving answers wasted all the time so like, all of this is not worth the amount I paid, I paid almost 500 to stay for a week to go through these insults, I already paid much less, I was treated better in other places. the walls of the room are all dirty and stained and a painting is also hanging outside, they have to be ashamed and fix these things
