Lovely property with really nice food and a good selection of drinks. Quality food.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was an absolute delight and truly the highlight of our stay - fresh, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives during our stay. The carpet in the room had significant staining, and although we were informed on the morning we were due to checkout that it was due to be replaced, this did impact our experience. While there were some lovely pieces of furniture in the suite, the sofa was extremely uncomfortable—it felt as though there was little to no padding, making it difficult to relax. The room was also very stuffy. Although two fans were provided, one was largely ineffective, and it took a long time to cool the room to a comfortable temperature. The complimentary refreshments felt limited for the price and star rating. The provision consisted of still water (though it was unclear whether this was tap or filtered), four coffee pods—two of which were decaffeinated—and only two tea bags. A small addition such as biscuits would have been expected. We were also concerned about some safety aspects of the room layout. The step down into the wet room (WC/shower) and the slight step up into the bedroom both presented potential slip/trip hazards. This is something that should ideally be highlighted at the point of booking.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent. Parking was good. The bed and bed linen were good quality. Water provided, coffee machine and fan all good.

The converted stable room was very small and hot even though there was a fan in the room. The bathroom was extremely close to the top of the bed. Little room to put stuff down. I'd say it was ideal for one person for one night in Autumn or Spring.

Wij hebben er gelogeerd ivm een bezoek aan de Berkshire Fayre en mochten onze bagage al in de ochtend droppen dat was heel fijn. We hadden een mooie gezellige kamer in een verbouwde stal, op het terrein, met parking voor de deur. Heerlijk bed en goed ontbijt.

De kamer was wat gehorig. Verder alles top!
