Very basic hotel Staff do not speak English

Belle architecture, chambre spacieuses et confortable avec joli balcon terrasse entouré de végétation luxuriante. Très agréable.

Un tout petit inconvénient, absence de parking a l'hôtel. Il y a toujours de la place pour se garer a proximité ou même devant mais parcmètre obligatoire, 10 pesos ( 0.50€ ) de l'heure de 10h a 22h.

sängen var något för liten för att sova två i En liten blodfläck på ett örngott stor som ett större mynt, gjorde att hotellet debiterade 240 MXN extra vid utcheckning. Då jag har eksem händer det att det kan bli blodfläckar i sängen, men jag har aldrig på 60 år blivit extradebiterad för det.

Carlos and the night guard (didn’t catch his name) were awesome! All the people we came in contact with were super friendly and helpful. The property was quiet and a block away from the strip. An incredibly walkable area! We felt safe the entire trip!

The beach left something to be desired. But it proved to be an awesome place to watch pelicans dive into the water. Not a place for swimming but gorgeous views and access to fishing boats.

I feel as though I have discovered something rare and precious. The Playa Palms Beach Hotel is easily my favourite independent hotel at which I’ve stayed while in Mexico. The staff were not only exceptionally professional and welcoming, but also friendly, discreet, and easy going. The room was clean, aesthetically pleasing, the courtyard visually appealing, and with the lovely palms reaching above my second floor suite (205) it felt secluded, despite being open to the courtyard. The balcony was charming, quiet, and though I didn’t use the hammock, it gave a great beach vibe and I intend to use it next time. The water pressure is heavenly. The nearly instant, and consistent hot water is the best I’ve experienced in Mexico, including a room at another four star hotel (a chain) that cost three times the nightly rate of the Playa Palms. If my shower had a waterfall head to go with the wand it would exceed the quality of the five star hotel in Cancun at which I stayed the previous night, which cost over six times the rate. The Playa Palms is an excellent value; I cannot overstate this aspect. I’ve stayed in a dozen or so hotels like this in multiple Mexican cities and for the price you will not find anything better. It is cute, warm, homey, and I will definitely return. The Playa Palms is the kind of place you could easily live out of for weeks, and I hope to do so as soon as possible. I highly recommend.
