Entire studio with private parking and balcony

Superb little studio apartment, with fantastic selection of kitchen equipment including bodium filter coffee and pod machine. The balcony was a delight private sunny with plenty of space. Lovely hosts, clear instruction. Very secure location/ property. Great location close to sea and station.

The only slight negative was the mattress a little too soft for me, but that’s a personal preference.

Beautiful views. Private and not overlooked. Clean and equipped perfectly for the cozy room. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The only thing we can say is someone was smoking weed and we could smell it, however it wasn’t the hosts and it was beyond their control. We just don’t like the smell of it, but live and let live.

Absolutely nothing to dislike

Property was very clean, value for money, and I loved the patio. The studio itself, was very comfortable and everything I needed was provided.

We had an amazing stay at Jackie and Jonathan’s quirky little studio flat! The location was perfect — just a short stroll to the seafront and Southend Pier, meaning ice cream, sea air, and arcades were never far away. We arrived earlier than expected and assumed we’d have to wait around, but shortly after parking in the handy off-road space, the lovely Jackie greeted us with a cheerful “Do come up!” — a much better welcome than sitting in the car pretending to check Google Maps repeatedly. After climbing the rather steep wooden stairs (which definitely counted as our weekend exercise), we arrived at what we quickly nicknamed “the treehouse.” The studio was cosy, full of character, and had everything we needed. The balcony amongst the trees was a fantastic bonus, especially in the warm weather, and I happily spent hours there reading my book in peaceful surroundings. When we weren’t out exploring Southend, we loved relaxing in the flat and soaking up the cosy atmosphere. We genuinely had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we visit Southend again.

Our only issue was trying to find souvenirs to take home! We eventually settled for a few sticks of rock from the pier gift shop. Honestly, someone is missing a trick — the seafront was packed, and a proper gift shop would do brilliant business!

Central location with the bonus of on site parking. Ideal for a couple. Loved the balcony where we were able to have breakfast and late evening drink. Excellent information from the hosts.

Stairs to property maybe not good for seniors

Todo estuvo excelente y acogedor, limpio y la decoración me gustó mucho, cada detalle bien pensado.

A cracking place, close to town and within walking distance of great eating places. The hosts were really helpful and friendly, and everything you could need was in the studio. Would definately use this place again.
