Forth Road Bridge Views

Nada más entrar, nos encontramos con escaleras sucias, ropa tendida que nos tocaba la cabeza, olor a mascota y un desorden generalizado en las zonas comunes que nos incomodó de inmediato. Luego oímos al loro y que la habitación no tenia pestillo nos dimos cuenta de que no podríamos descansar bien. Al irnos de la casa para dar un paseo nos hemos dado cuenta que no podíamos cerrar con llave porque la cerradura no funcionaba bien, ahi es donde se nos han encendido todas las alarmas y hemos visto que no estariamos tranquilos porque nuestras pertenencias ni siquiera quedaban aseguradas ni nuestra integridas durante la noche. Para terminar, por el mismo precio hemos encontrado un hotel a última hora, lo que señala que las tarifas no son competitivas.

La dueña muy atenta y amable. Nos ha dado muchas facilidades y flexibilidad Está muy bien ubicado y tienes a pocos metros un autobús que te lleva al centro de Edimburgo

La cercanía al aeropuerto

Aunque si que es cierto que las propietarias son super amables, no es el tipo de alojamiento que me gusta.

Me and my son had such a fantastic stay here, it’s in a beautiful area, just a five-minute walk from the sea, which made it feel really peaceful. The room itself was spacious, spotless and lovely and warm, and we both slept so well. The photos honestly don’t do it justice - it’s much bigger and comfier in person. Anne, the host, was absolutely wonderful. So kind, attentive and genuinely friendly, it felt more like staying with family than in a guesthouse. She really makes you feel at home. I didn’t mind the pets either, the cat and parrot are adorable and added a lovely bit of charm to the house. The bathroom is shared, but I honestly didn’t mind at all; it was always clean and easy to use. The location’s brilliant too, the bus stop to Edinburgh is just a couple of minutes away, and there’s a Co-op and a few little shops right across the road. It was such a warm, welcoming stay from start to finish. I’d come back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks Anne x
