GBThe actual room I was staying in was a good size and clean. There was tea and coffee making facilities, a television and clean towels left in the room which was also good. The shower was warm and a good pressure although the toilet bowl was dirty. A toilet brush would be good idea.
The kitchen felt a bit abandoned. There was very little crockery or cutlery and there were pots lying around. The most worrying aspect was that the magnetic lock to the door to my room did not lock and also the main door to the house was constantly left on the latch as every time I returned to the house it was open. It felt unsafe to sleep in and I was worried about leaving my belongings in the room when I was out.
GBGBMy room was clean and pleasant, i was in awe of the kitchen really beautiful. Big shout out to the gorgeous cat who demanded cuddles when i pottered to the bathroom :)
The only minor complaint i had was that the other guests were kinda noisey till late, which i didnt really mind as i was up scrolling on my phone. If i was there for work or a meeting i possibly would have minded.
GBThe bedroom was comfortable. The residents were pleasant and friendly.
The other flats were long term lets so it felt like I was setting up camp in people's home. I am older and have travelled widely, so it didn't phase me that all the residents were (mainly young) men. But it's not really appropriate accommodation for younger or less confident women.
GBGBGBGBGBClean, comfortable, mainly quiet accommodation. Good communication from friendly hostess. TV in room, washing machine and large fridge/freezer in kitchen. On a quiet street just off the main road with lots of shops, pubs etc. Only a 40min walk from Hull centre.
The duvet is a little too short for me but this is a minor issue.
