GBGBBasic but comfortable, towels were soft and fluffy and held a good fragrance.
Spiders in the bathroom
GBThe room was spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable to sleep in. Bathroom clean and shower was very good. Would have been nice to have the usual TV channels but freeview (I players) was fine. Plenty of tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful resident upstairs when I managed to get locked out of my room. Check-in explained well and instructions clear and easy to follow. Ella Street is a really good location for shopping, cafes, bars and close to the University. Toiletries useful as I forgot to pack mine. Friendly cat and owner was efficient in attending to fault with door locking mechanism.
The curtains were too thin so light awoke me early morning. Thicker curtains to block the early morning light would be an improvement. The kitchen wasn't very clean in places. The microwave oven needed cleaning. Music from upstairs made it difficult to drop off to sleep at night. The music didn't stop until 1.30am and then started again at 8.30am!!!

No toilet brush to clean faecal smears. No iron in the building.
GBIt was a pleasant room,
but we thought that it was on suite, but instead I had to walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom, not knowing who may be in the kitchen 😔. My partner was extremely worried about this. Also when trying to open the front door, it was stuck so bad that we couldn't even get out, the only reason that we managed to get out, is because someone was coming in from the outside. We were there for a maximum 30 mins, then we left and found alternative accommodation. Very disappointed with everything about it, I would definitely not recommend this place as it seemed to be more like a homeless hostel 😢
