Several Large spiders Door lock system stressful and not easy to operate .. had to pull door very hard for it to open. Kitchen and bathroom areas could do with a deep clean .

INFor our short weekend stop in Hull, this room was a hidden gem at this price that absolutely exceeded expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, fresh towels, wifi and TV with all streaming options available for a night in as well.
GBImmediate and clear instructions from the host regarding check-in. Reasonably clean in all areas despite it is a shared accomodation. Well equipped kitchen with a large, new fridge for common use. The room I stayed is of good size, easy access on ground floor. There is a comfy king size bed, a night stand with a night lamp, a wardrobe if you need one, a kettle and mugs and even some coffee left by generous host! The room is spacious so you don't feel cramped. It overlooks the street so you may have a feeling people are watching you but there is a black'ich veil coveringbtgevwindow so nothing can be seen from outside unless the light is on. There are also nice curtains. The shared bathroom is past the kitchen but it was clean, with nice hot water and working shower. I had a very good night there, the area is quiet during night hours. Highly recommended for laid back people who need simple, clean and not over-priced accomodation.
All was OK. I'm going to book it again if available. Some people wrote in reviews it was hard to find as the street is one-direction traffic but the host sends the exact address immediately after the booking is made so just have that message at hand when arriving.
