Little Gem in Kemptown Brighton

It was cute and cosy, nice and clean. Really good communication with the owner.

Would have liked the shower to be more powerful but we feel that where ever we stay as we are very spoilt back home as it’s our one thing we like is a good shower.

Very easy to collect keys

Top tile on entrance lil slippery when wet.

We went to Brighton to visit my daughter. The room is lovely and clean. Smelt fresh when we walked in too. My partner had a shower but the shower trap (plug) was blocked, causing the water to almost flood into the bathroom. We messaged Jo as soon as it happened and she got back to us immediately. By the next morning, it was all sorted without a hitch, along with fresh towels, a complimentary bottle of wine and a cute little card as an apology. We completely understand that these happen, so felt that Jo and Max had gone above and beyond for us. The bed was very comfy and the room had everything we needed. Don't let being just outside of Brighton centre put you off. Just a 5 minute walk and you will find a bus stop (just outside the hospital). One way will take you into Brighton and the other will take you towards the marina. So there is plenty to keep you busy. We downloaded the Brighton and Hove bus app and brought a bus pass for 2 adults for 24 hours and it only cost £10 for both of us. Just a short walk down hill to the beach too! There was only one downside for myself, and that, for me, the room was cold. Not sure if that's because we were below ground level, and we couldn't see a dial for the radiator. My partner didn't feel it was cold but there are two types of people in this world.... The ones that are always warm and the ones that are always cold. I'm the one that's always cold. Luckily there were extra blankets on the bottom of the bed so I wrapped myself up.
