The houses are on a beautiful setting, they were clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. A home from home!

Property is perfect just a little remote / costly if you have to use cabs so best with own transport

Rooms were a good size and plenty of space. Having the space was great for our party as large family. Hot tub is a nice touch - makes up for being in the middle of nowhere!

The venue had an exclusive wedding so you feel you are second class if you’re staying at the lodge - luckily it didn’t affect us too much. The cleanliness put us off a bit with tissues and sweets left under the beds and crumbs and a dirty oven.

Outstanding property, beautiful location

Overall, the property was all-in-all great and the house was very spacious and roomy, with 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms which was perfect for my family of 5. There was really everything you could ask for in this house, with a hot tub in the beautiful garden that definitely added to the property's prestige. The location is also 20 - 30 minutes (depending what time you are travelling) from the property to the city centre of Edinburgh so I would recommend to rent a car when there as it is quite a countryside area, but worth being away from the city hassle.

One major problem was the Wi-Fi in the house and service in the area as a whole. The Wi-Fi is found in the living room and can be connected to, but there was very minimal service in the area and the Wi-Fi would not reach the upstairs bedroom. Also, as relaxing as the hot tub was, it was surrounded by many flying insects and flies that were very annoying at times, undermining the hot tub experience.

The rooms were very clean. Awesome property. Ample of space. Very well maintained.

The upper rooms became very hot, despite heaters being off.
