Grass could have been cut in the back gardens and maybe look to have the hot tub an enclosure to keep out flys.

Amazing property recommend walk about the Carberry tower tower and gardens great photo op for those travelling through Edinburgh. Stayed at Juniper cottage with group of 7 had plenty of room with all the facilities.

Beautiful location. All staff very helpful & friendly. Cannot fault the service at all. Will definitely be going back!

The grass could have done with cutting in the lodge garden, but we appreciate that this may have been a time of year/weather thing.

Friendly staff. Good and spacious.

Grass was needing cut, looked bit run down needing some paint done. Lots of spiders webs everywhere in the house. Showers needing a good clean and re grouted.

The location of the lodge was perfect….loved hearing the birdsong in the morning & watching the squirrels run about in the garden. The property was like a tardis with plenty room for our group of 5 & the walk in closets were a particular favourite. Special shout out to Lynn at the main house for going over & above for us booking taxis etc which was super appreciated & to our lovely hot tub man 😊 this was the ideal property for us as it was in a beautiful country location but was literally 20mins in a taxi to the centre of Edinburgh so ideal for that & 10mins from the racecourse in Musselburgh. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to dine at the main house or use their champagne terrace as there was a wedding on so would be fun to come back again & do that some time xx

The oven/grill had no instructions & was fiddly to work…..gave up on the grill tbh as just couldn’t suss it out but apart from that absolutely no complaints atall xx
