ICONIC RETREAT by ATULYAM STAYS

Staff was supportive and car parking was available.

On arrival rooms were changed despite prior request with owner. Dinner for all the guests was laid out outside without any refill and was served cold. No pickle/ salad was available/served. A small encloser within the room with a permanent roof opening was a nightmare for privacy and a perfect conduit for loud noise of nearby guests using stairs or interacting with among themselves/staff. Our night sleep was frequently disturbed due to loud noisy environment.

1. the room was smelling of dampness 2. Geyser not working, not hot water 3. Average food, they ran out of food on my second night of stay 4. extremely noisy through out the night 5. Hand shower in the toilet broke in one of the rooms 6. No breakfast was served on the second day of my checkout till 9am, there was no one at the reception.

Naman as a manager was really good and helpful. His Mamaji was was also helpful in guiding how to get to the ghats in the morning.

The property was below average as per my expectations. It’s on the Mumbai highway and lot of traffic and trucks so sleeping is a nightmare. The location on the booking.com was not correct and we ended up somewhere else. It’s far from Arail ghat and it took a lot of time to get to the accommodation as the traffic was horrendous with all the road closures. The rooms didn’t look as shown in the pictures and was really stuffy. Couldn’t sleep and ended up with 2 sleepless nights. Owner needs to up his game if he is charging that much money as this costed more than staying in a 4 star accommodation.

Stayed during the Maha Kumbha mela and it seemed like we were staying on the wrong side of town and difficult to get to where the action was. But the hotel owner was very helpful with anything we needed. We liked having a kettle and being able to make our own drinks and the fan heater was much needed. The food prepared in the hotel was delicious. Bed was large.

Check in was a long process especially when it’s evening and you’re tired,cold,and in need of the bathroom! The reception area needs to be in an inside area!

Very clean and tidy room. Excellent hospitality and very helpful. Helped with pick up and drop of my parents at late night. Food was great. Took really good care of my parents.

Nothing. It seems that booking .com does not inspect any property before promoting it. It is the worst experience of my life to stay in Iconic Retreat

Nothing. The property is located in a secluded location and it is the dirtiest property I have ever came accross.

The room did not have a lock. There were many mosquitoes in the room as one part of the roof was open. We were feeling chilled in the room as the external air was entering the room.
