It was close to the things we had booked but the accomdation itsself , there wasn't anything to like.

The images on booking.com are either the lodges that have recently been rennovated or in better condition. When we arrived, the key was left in the reception in an envelope as the reception desk was close, there was no map with any directions on etc so we wasn't sure where everything was. There was no log fire as stated in the description, it was just a free standing plug in fire that didn't blow the heat effieiciently so most likely needs replacing. The hot tub was not heating efficiently and there was no dial to do so yourself even though there were instructions stuck to the side there was no panel to adjust the temperature of the hot tub. Not to mention, the decking could do with a tidy, there was just twigs and branches everywhere surrounding the tub, not ideal for when trying to do the cover or get in and out. The shower and the bathroom were filthy, needs a thorough clean the shower drain was filthy with mould. The shower only produced extremely hot water unless you put the bathroom tap on, so we had to do this so my little girl could get a wash. The shower hose it's self had a big hole in. The front door was temperatmental but to be expected in an accomdation that is rundown like this. All the doors infact in the accomdation were very stiff. There was planks of wood covering something in the ceiling, I assume it was a quick diy to fix a leak. Just didn't look very appealing. A dishwaher was provided, however no freezer was available, and you only get a dollop of fairy washing liquid or one dishwasher tablet so you would have to buy more if you were staying longer. Big gap down the side of the single beds as the 2 single beds didn't fit into the second bedroom properly. Signal can be hit and miss, but that's to be expected when you're in a secluded area. there was an area labelled as farm animals, it was fine not very well looked after and there was only some chickens and sheeped kept in this small fenced off area so nothing...

Lovely location and loved the hot tub. Very quiet

It was a bit run down but for the price it wasn’t bad . Customer service is terrible. When your spending money they are very quick to get in touch but if you have a query re refund you get no response. Very dissapointing.

Great views, great staff and cleanliness of the lodge!
