Sherwood Castle by Liv Retreats

Bathroom door broken and didn’t have a lock and didn’t shut due to the latch being jammed, no spatula for cooking in our property. Hottub had leafs and sticks floating around in it. Swimming pool was very out dated and pool table had a rip in it making it un usable.and cues damaged/broken.

Location is good,

On arrival we was told the indoor swimming pool was closed - not been given this information prior to arriving which was a big deal because one of the reasons we booked was to take out 1.5yr old swimming, the cabin had no guard around the electric heater - in the photos it did which was quite concerning knowing that we had a 1.5 yr old, the hot tub only worked the first night then remained freezing cold for the rest of our stay- unable to use

It is ideal for a quick get away .

Our door once locked was very difficult to open . It was Dangerous .

Beautiful location - and we could park next to our cabin (perfect with a 5 year old and a little pooch). Our hot tub was at the side of the cabin - unlike a lot of others whose were at the front. It was very cozy inside and had almost everything we needed. The place was clean and tidy, with fresh bedding on arrival. Easy check-in and check-out and lovely and quiet.

It would have been nice to have a freezer - for veg and ice - and a bottle/tin opener (which neighbours also didn't have, as they came to us to borrow one.) I wouldn't say the mattresses are any good for those with a bad back (such as myself), but the shower was lovely - with really soft water.
