Was great place to relax, peaceful and we where lucky to see big troop of baboons.

The hot tub requires alot of fire wood to get it to nice warm temp, the concrete structure that its made of just sucks heat out of the water. Plus its quite big so takes awhile.

This place offers quality time with loved ones. Everything you need is here. No, you don't need a microwave ;) There is a hot tub there, but you need the right wood. Rooi-krans, worked well there to heat the unit up to the perfect temperature.

Around the house by the door you come in and on the side by the hot tub...there are weeds growing that make the place look a little untidy. The wheels of the sliding doors are a bit worn. This may cause more damage to the surface the doors slide on.

Everything, this is an amazing stay with a host that went above and beyond to make our stay and valentines day special. Cant recommend this accommodation and host enough!

Location is perfect. Nice house. Clean and comfortable. Could do with a microwave. Dogs were enjoying themselves. Very relaxed atmosphere, loved the hotwater tub, although was not needed for fire in tub, water was warm and nice to cool down. LOVELY stoep area.

Everything was awesome. we were such impressed by our staying so we decided to stay for one more night.many thanks for hospitality and assistance

The location was perfect. This was self catering.

No complaints whatsoever.

Everything was perfect. An abundance of wild life that come drink at the dam early morning and late afternoon. You do not need music as the birds and frogs supply you with ample singing. Watching the troop of baboons in the early morning and late afternoon playing in the trees was amazing. The kol kol worked perfectly. Only took about 3 hours to warm up. We used the dry smaller blocks of wood, conveniently cut to size. The WI Fi was sufficient to have access to social media. At night, the little flying insects and bugs are chased away by some rather friendly little bats, so no need to spray anti gogga. A truly magical experience.

I loved the setting, the hot tub and dam was amazing. Tranquil, isolated and peaceful.

The staff brought the wood and started the hot tub only when I arrived. I feel it should have been lit and hot when I arrived. There were no Braai pots. The oven pans were rusted, fortunately I found a small oven to put my meat into. Hardly any bowls for snacks. There was no Wi-Fi information on the fridge or no pamphlet . The staff who lit the wood showed me where the router was. I would never have found it outside on the veranda near the roof. No passwords I was given by them worked. I spent my entire stay there without wifi or proper signal. I had no way to communicate with anyone in case of emergency. Fortunately I had family who came from Bredasdorp to braai with me and I could use their Hotspot but when they left early evening I was left with no communication from the staff of the property even after they assured me they will come back to sort it out. I really feel cheated out of having a peaceful night away. I have however referred 2 friends already as I loved the setting.
