Il Sogno

Come di consueto, con mia moglie Cathy e Nocciolina (una minuscola e tranquilla volpina di pomerania) i giorni di Natale li abbiamo trascorsi in vacanza in Umbria. Quest'anno la difficile scelta è caduta sul piccolo e delizioso borgo di Spello. La scelta della casa vacanze invece , si è inaspettatamente dimostrata molto semplice; mai in tanti anni di girovagare per l'Italia ci era capitato di leggere su Booking una unanimità di commenti cosi vasta e positiva con votazioni eccellenti riferita ad una location. Non c'era dubbio che la nostra scelta cadesse quindi su Il Sogno di Via Sant'Angelo meglio conosciuto come Vicolo dei Baci. La disponibile accoglienza della proprietaria Stefania: una deliziosa, piacevole, disponibile, colta e alla mano signora, già ci era apparso un biglietto da visita positivo, quello che ha poi reso il nostro soggiorno straordinario e magico è stato l'appartamento. Ogni singolo angolo, ambiente, decorazione e oggetto era di ottimo gusto, ricercato ed esprimeva il desiderio di offrire confort e buone emozioni all'ospite. La sensazione più presente era quella di pensare di essere in una casa dove non mancasse nulla, dagli utensili da cucina, agli elettrodomestici, ai dolci per la colazione, alla riserva di acqua minerale, al caffè, alla frutta fresca e quella secca, materiali per la pulizia della casa e personali , decorazioni floreali ecc., il tutto racchiuso in una decoration calda , raffinata e accogliente. I commenti eccellenti erano allora attendibili e non non possiamo fare altro che aggiungere anche il nostro. Questo luogo e Stefania hanno pesantemente impreziosito la nostra bellissima vacanza di Natale. Grazie!

The most amazing stay in every way . A wonderful apartment with the most charming and gracious host , Stefania. Stefania has thought of every detail from the decor to the food and snacks provided foc, the apartment is simply superb. During our 3 months of travelling within Europe this apartment stand head and shoulders above all others . Simply cannot rate it highly enough . Spello itself is truly beautiful and well worth a visit . The gorgeous hilltop town is the prefect antidote for the hustle and bustle of Italy’s larger towns and cities.

La struttura nel complesso molto curata e pulita

Before even entering the property that is Il Sogno, the walk to it evoked a feeling of calmness and peace. With lovely colorful potted greenery and flowers, one can't help imagine a beautiful space inside the apartment. And, as I imagined, the inside of the apartment didn't disappoint. The apartment is charming with little farm house touches combined with modern amenities. It had pretty much everything one would need and expect from a holiday house. And then, there's Stefania... she's charming, accommodating, a perfectly lovely host! Grazie mille.

Both my husband and I would have loved an extra day in Spello.

Location was excellent, host met us during a huge wine festival & still found us a place to park & then drove us & baggage into the walled city dodging all the festivals visitors down narrow streets.

Lovely appartment. Everything you need is available and you feel yourself very welcome. The host give great tips and is always available if needed. Spello is a place that stay in your heart and you never will leave this little piece of heaven on earth❤️. Great restaurants and very friendly people. Great location to explore Umbrie.
