Stable Cottage, Whitebridge Farm

Good location to base ourselves for travelling around the region, you do need a car. Nice and quiet. V comfortable bed, good facilities well equipped kitchen, decent TV with apple, Amazon, netflix, iPlayer etc. handy for winding down before bed.

Parking could be challenging in the evening as spaces tended to be all taken. One very small dissatisfaction was getting one toilet roll between 2 of us for 6 nights. The info pack stated there would be no more provided. Presumably you'd get the same if you were staying one night? We came from abroad so hadn't factored in having to go to the supermarket for loo roll. First time staying anywhere when this provision hasn't allowed for extra for the number of nights stayed. Seemed rather mean. Washing machine available but there's a charge to use it.

Sink plugs didn't work

Near the venue, I was going to. Good parking. Smelled clean comfy sofa. Good TV. Clear welcome pack. There is no problem with WIFI, even though the pack said it might drop out.

The bed was a bit firm for me. The kitchen cups needed cleaning. No washing up bowl or plug that stopped the water escaping from the sink. Both plughole, bathroom and kitchen had stuff in them on arrival. Tea towel looked used or was stained. The clock in the kitchen was not keeping time. Next door could be heard, though the walls. Child being shouted at by other guests. Glad they left Saturday.

All in all a lovely stay, just a couple of minor things though the decor could do with a little freshen up, the grill worked but barely, there was a crack in the fascia of one of the outboard doors and a damaged light switch. And finally but this is a very personal thing the bed is very soft but not recommended for people such as myself who suffer with back issues. I'd still go back but just acknowledging the minor and they are minor issues
