Stable Cottage, Whitebridge Farm

Lovely location, very peaceful, spacious, well supplied kitchen, hosts very responsive

The bed was very uncomfortable and I could see that a lot of the slats were either broken or out of place.

Lovely location, really easy to find, Incredibly quiet at night. Lovely people staying there. Welcoming feel to the place. Pretty location, neat and tidy outdoor areas. Field for the dog to stretch his legs. Farm feel with the chickens wondering about which was lovely to see. Parking on site BBQ's you can use, which is a great option to have. Great location for nearby walks. Ideal if just using as a base between other plans. Host very responsive to any questions I had beforehand.

Everyone is different, and this is just my opinion.. Very basic. Parking on site ,but if you aren't spacially aware, then you may struggle. Host would advise though i'm sure if you were worried about where else you could park. Attention to detail with the cleaning/housekeeping wasn't brilliant. For instance the cutlery was dirty and the duvet cover had a couple of holes in. The fridge must of had something spilt in it and not cleaned very well as it smelt. Bed uncomfortable but others may find it perfectly ok. I'm just used to a different mattress. Visited in the heatwave, it was unbearably hot and impossible to cool the place down. But the owners can't control the weather of course. We didn't stay the 2 nights as it was just too hot and uncomfortable for myself and my dog.I had brought a fan with me, but we left after 1 night. They had tried to cool it down as the doors and window were open when I arrived, but that didn't do anything to help cool it down,in fact, it probably made it worse. Would have been nice to have a blind in the bedroom that blocked out light. Opposite cottage had an outdoor light on all night.

Very welcoming extremely nice when above and beyond. Will definitely be going back. Amazing views. Very quiet.

It was convenient for what we wanted for travel.

We did not like that it looked tired and well used ie curtains was not hanging well also they was very long on the floor which is a danger you could trip over them and the the fridge was not clean and the ice box was frozen so could not use it.

Very peaceful & quite

Pictures on the website are very deceiving so they must be several years old. The cold water tap in the kitchen didn't work when I arrived but the owner explained the previous guests did not mention it didn't work so guess this couldn't be helped this was eventually changed on day 3. The cottage wasn't particularly clean, the wooden door off the built in fridge was missing, the drain plug in the sink was filthy & growing things on it also the drain plug in the shower had 1/2 of it missing. The front door wouldn't close properly, in fact I messaged the owner I was worried I would damage it & she said it was difficult to shut but it would be OK.

Excellent location for exploring the area

Being a self-catering site, there were no staples, no tea, coffee, or even condiments. No basics, you need to bring absolutely everything, which was not evident from the booking site. As we travelled from Australiathis was a little inconvenient. The only sharp knife was broken. Cold water tap in the kitchen only worked when it wanted to. The owner was not helpful at all, considering they live on site.

A perfect find, all we needed for our 2 night stay. immaculately clean and very comfortable and cosy. I would definitely recommend this litte diamond. Annabelle was very responsive to my communication.

Thin pillows and lumpy Dribble shower that would not stay at the right temp either freezing or scolding.. Couldnt turn the cold tap on in the kitchen
