Clean room with nice breakfast

I requested before our arrival if we could have an early check in. I received a reply from the accommodation that it is ok. Once we arrived they wanted to charge us 100soles extra. So early morning I had to talk to the receptionist for about half an hour and be strict that it is not ok. If they want to charge extra than they need to tell you in advance.

Close to the city center and clean.

There is no heating in the hotel (it gets below 0 in Puno overnight) which made the room temperature freezing during the night. Even the staff at the reception is wearing winter jackets. Also we were required to pay in cash despite advertising that the hotel accepts cards.

Breakfast was OK, shower was warm, and staff was chatty

It's old, the carpets are dirty. The toilet didn't flush even though we asked the staff to fix it twice. You could hear everything happening on a busy street at all times, because the windows don't block the noise. There was no electricity for one day. It was freezing cold in the room and we only got a bunch of old blankets to cover. The triple room is simply a double room without extra bed so there's nowhere to put the luggages. It was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

We like everything at this hotel. It surpassed all our expectations. The staff is first rate, going out of their way to help. The room and beds are super clean, as is the shower and everything

There is nothing to dislike

Everything was perfect. The relation value-money is super!

Breakfast is great, good location

Staff is only okay, they refused to take card and wanted cash only because we got special price from booking. Wifi is okay but it's definitely not fast

Didn’t bother us, but you should know there is no lift.

Location is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is big and shower is of good water pressure and hot water.
