ZAI liked the location. Just the school bell in week sounds like a tornado alarm. Very clean and private. Very quite building. All the staff is friendly. Has a very nice cafe at the bottom.
We wanted to stay an extra 2 hours before check out but was informed that the next occupants will be arriving at 3 pm. And the cleaners must clean at 10 am. I thought that they could have been a bit accommodating for an extra 2 hours. It is a very small apartment and don't think it takes 5hours to clean.

ZALovely place and very close to the beach. It's as it looks in the pictures
ZAThere was no electricity in the room for 3 days We were not told about electricity problem until I arrived in the apartment. The room was dirty and was told the cleaner will come to clean later. Asked me to make a log in with the municipality for electricity but I was a guest from Joburg not a resident in Cape Town. The worst place to reserve for holidays.

ZAThe bathroom was the highlight of our stay as there was air conditioning put in the bathroom and very spacious. The host was really nice when escorting us to our room The place was really well set up and comfortable when we arrived. They had a nice balcony when you need a breath of fresh air at any time. 24 hour security so we felt pretty safe and secure when we were staying there. As well as it was close to the beach , like a 2 minute walk. Will definitely book another stay with them
There was nothing I didn’t like
ZAAs a solo traveller, the building felt safe, although at night I was a bit reluctant to walk to nearby restaurants as there were lots of homeless people sleeping on this road. It was quite central to everything which was great! It was a nice self contained apartment and would definitely book again.
I had hired a car, and was parked in the basement parking on the far end, at some point, someone parked next to me and slammed their door hard onto my car and dented quite bad, I went to the security to ask them to check their camera's to find out what happened, but unfortunately there was no camera's in this specific area, and ended up costing me a packet for repairs. The homeless people sleeping on that road especially in the night made me a little anxious.
ZAThe apartment was exactly like the pictures taken on Booking.com. It was very clean.
The wednesday I checked in, the apartment did not have electricity, Lihle said that the problem was from the City of CT, and that they are working on it and we should have electricity by the evening. (I went out to buy some groceries for breakfast for about R550 or so.)However, this was the only unit (217)in the whole building without electricity. The very same evening, around 7/8 a gentleman by the name of Duncan called with an alternative option that they can move us to: The Tokyo somewhere in the CBD for the night or even the duration of our stay. Apparently, guys from the City of CT were apparently their but could not enter as they did not have the key to the apartment, yet Lihle came in to drop of a Toblerone chocolate and a bottle of wine. We were in bed by this time and decided to decline and wait it out till the next morning. (Mind you, we chose this venue as it was central to all the amenities close to our accommodation.) Thursday morning, still no electricity and no communication from the host or their team. Their phone was off, myself and my partner and I tried calling to no avail. I left a Whatsapp message that they did not respond to, I went to the front desk to ask Bianca if they had called or sent anyone else to attend to our problem, and she said no. We had to ask the security to charge our devices and to boil water for us just to have a cup of coffee. I tried them again after 12 before we stepped out to continue with our plans. We later returned to the apartment to darkness only for 2 guys from the City of CT to come switch on the electricity as something was tripping the lights after hours (we were yet to find out with this was when we tried to switch on a TV and WIFI that did not work.) The guys managed to switch on the electricity but there was a ticking sound coming from the plugs where the TV and WIFI were plugged in, the sound kept getting louder.
ZAAwesome stay! The location is absolutely prime. Honestly could not ask for more considering the price. The host are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend to friends and family. Truly value for money.
