Holiday Inn Express South Lake Tahoe

Location was great.

Previous reviews by other guests are consistent with ours, had to ask three different times for towels before any were delivered, carpets were dirty and beds stained. We visited in early August and our main concern we had was the taped off fire escape by our room 297 on second floor saying stairwell temporarily closed which left us and other guests at that end of the hallway with limited escape access in the event of an emergency evacuation which left us anxious for our two night stay. We would hope the stairwell would be made a number one priority to be fixed up as this is a serious issue and totally unsafe.

Clean rooms, convince to casinos, shopping and lake, parking is a little tight but nit a big issue

We were up for an overnight concert. Perfect walking distance. Friendly staff.

Location is excellent. Staff checking us in were nice. Room was dirty, there were chips on the bathroom floor, cob webs around the room, dirty stained carpet, shower with mold stains, left over food found in the small room fridge. Would likely not stay here again.

The room was clean , staff was great but outside looks really bad
