The Novello by evergreen - 5 min to mall road

There was a lot of wait time after the food being ordered, The website says, the property is just 5mins away from the Mall Road but that's not the case, it's more than that Staff was helpful and kind but not that approachable or friendly Overall can rate 3 on 5. Cleanliness was a challenge for me.

The property was not near to the Mall Road as per the claims on their website. Too much wait time after placing the food order. The water was not that hot as they were using Solar energy.

Location is wonderful

Not good. No proper parking, no lift, no food on time. You have to order at least 45-50 mins in advance. Parking was 2 km away from hotel which belongs to other hotel owner. Toiletries were not provided in time. One day was wasted in getting the things fixed. Attached balcony was not clean. They provided us complimentary born fire in order to fix things for us for that lasts only 5 mins. Staff was good. Hotel management was poor.

Property management

The Novello by Hotel Evergreen Mussoorie Spacious, clean rooms with cozy beds and great views. The food is fresh and flavorful, with good options for both kids and adults. Loved the service!

It's my first time in mussoorie before reaching to Mussoorie I feel Mussoorie Hotels are too expensive but when I meet to " The Novello Evergreen Hotel " I realised that this is Insane because it's interior is too good as I didn't expected and the restaurant build at the top . The view from the Restaurant is outstanding. My first time experience made me a fan of this Hotel and the Mussoorie.

Staff Behaviour

They do not have proper bathroom hot water facility in very cold conditions. After multiple requests also it was not solved.

The only positive thing in this hotel was the view from its balcony although that also couldn't be enjoyed because of too many monkeys roaming around.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel is not elderly-friendly—you need to take a lift to reception and then climb stairs to reach the rooms. In Room 303, basic amenities were missing or not working (flush, kettle, AC and TV remotes). After shifting to Room 302, the same issues continued, along with no hot water. Towels were being used to clean spilled water on the floor by any other customer. I was given another room just to bathe, but even there the hot water stopped midway, leaving freezing cold water. Kitchen hygiene was also poor, with unclean dishes and cutlery. A good balcony view alone does not justify the high price. Overall, not worth the stay.
