Didn't order breakfast. The location is excellent, very convenient to take public transportations to go around the city as well as to other nearby cities.

More hanging points and hanger for clothing in the rooms.

Lovely place and plenty of space for us, 1 couple and 1 friend. Very clean and comfortable. Matched the pictures. Quiet neighborhood but easy to walk to busy neighbourhoods.

No wardrobe for luggage or hanging clothes but that didn't matter for our group of 3, couple plus 1 friend, because there was a spare room. For a bigger group that needed to use all 3 bedrooms, it would be tight with any significant luggage. Kettle was very slow but quick to boil water on the stove.

- Lage war eher weiter ausserhalb, darum 9/10, sonst wären es 10/10 (ist bei so einem Haus aber auch praktisch nicht machbar, dass es im Zentrum ist)

L'authenticité du lieu, sa beauté. Les accessoires de la salle de bain et la salle bain. Le,séjour avec le thé et le café offert, et la vue sur le jardin intérieur.

Aucun espace de rangement pour les vêtements.

Check in at Rinn Kyoto station was very easy, friendly and smooth. They call a taxi to bring you to the Machiya. It was everything we hoped for; very spacious and clean. It was a fantastic experience to stay in a traditional Japanese home where traditional style is kept but upgraded with comfort. There were 2 western style beds and 2 futons, which was perfect as some of us wanted to try a futon bed and some preferred western style beds. The neighbourhood is very quite and safe. Communication through booking was very good. There is a Lawson on a couple of minutes walk away. We absolutely recommend this Machiya!
