Great staff, lovely bar and outside area. Good shower, great linen, good bed.

Deluxe Room bedroom number 12 looks out to a brick wall, the back door of a bar and the extractor from the kitchen. £435 for 2 nights…as far away from deluxe as you can get … very disappointing.

Staff - quietly passive aggressive. No on interested in checking you in. Staff cars randomly parked blocking disabled space.

Fantastic location for railway station and town centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped rooms with decent quality toiletries and a coffee machine. The pantry on each floor for spare tea, coffee etc and chilled water is a very thoughtful touch.

The height of the bathroom mirror and door viewer has been decided by a tall person and is not practical for all guests - I am small but not particularly so (5' 4"), and I could not use the bathroom mirror nor see out of the door viewer! I have a slight allergy to feather pillows and did ask for a synthetic pillow instead, but none were available. I think that the duvets are also feather-filled and, whilst some people may find this a luxurious bonus, they are incredibly hot and not everyone can tolerate feather bedding.
