Great value for money and location

There was a strong smell of cigarettes when we arrived, but after opening the windows and airing the rooms it soon became fresher. There wasn't enough cutlery in the drawer to accommodate four of us, so I brought some to replace them.

Lovely spacious apartment, well decorated, clean, tidy and presentable. All facilities for a small family.

We found the ensuite bedroom to be smelly and damp The whole apt smells of smoke even though it has a no smoking status The boler sounds like it is about to blow up We question the safety of this We could not get the tv on and after trying for a while decided to contact the people supposedly around to help We rang 3 numbers no answer from two and the third put the phone down on us ????? Eventually a lovely young lady came and used HER own account details enabling us to be able to watch Netflix The price did not reflect our expectations I feel we were over charged . The mattress in the smaller bedroom was lumpy and uncomfortable

Smelt very badly of stale smoke Had numerous issues host is useless .Dirty bedding covered in make up and blood stains ,dishes were filthy and lack of them .beds were extremely uncomfortable , builders working on the roof next door so could not have bedroom blinds open . Spoke to booking.com who promised refund but unfortunately we were lied too by both host and booking.com Promised compensation for the fire alarm Going off for 2 hours during the night due to the man downstairs constantly smoking in the hallway (he is a resident) No key to to it off . Host lied about numerous things Very poor certainly would never stay again

I have photographs of the apartment the plates were all chipped and dirty so were the utencils we spent the firshour washing everything there was a pot dish in the dishwasher that had

Mouldy food in it the frying pans had dirty grease in them the toilet seat had pieces missing all told we would have gone home but there was no refund the stairs are bad i am disabled not told about these bath panel is hanging off and the person in the apartment whos door was next to the one after going through the door from outside kept coming out and watching us we also had to call someone out thst night no tv he came at about 9.45pm and said only net flix he set it up all cables were hanging on floor and up wall hated the stay glad to leave i think i should get my money back wouldnt go again gor free blinds in bedroom filthy and open wires in corner of window room with the bunk beds and it and bed rattled every time you moved disgusting

The heating worked really well. The shower was great. The location was closer than we thought it would be to shops, pubs and restaurants. The was everything we needed in the apartment. I thought it was good value for money.

The TV only worked with Netflix and we had to use our own login. The en-suite smelled of damp.

Perfect for the dogs and for privacy. Situated around everything entertainment wise, food and bars. Plenty to do in the area and the apartment was spotless.

Not really a bad point about the place or the hosts but the upstairs neighbours were ridiculously loud. Understandable as it’s probably their own home but the first night they were up banging about quite late so I had to stay up to stop the dogs from barking.
