Q Kata Residence

Echt perfect de locatie. Wij zaten aan de zwembad kant. En 2 kamers. Echt heerlijk. Karon beach mooier dan kata maar de nightmarket van kata was echt dichtbij. 5 min lopen.

Miss dan dat de airco beetje luid is. Maar dat is bijna overal. Vond het top verder dus niet een probleem.

Appartement spacieux, résidence au top avec sa piscine ainsi que la salle de sport et bien d’autres choses. idéal en famille.

1 AC in bedroom not working well. Beds were a little hard.

The apartment was in a great location, only minutes walk from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and having drinkable tap water (and plenty of bottled water provided too) was a nice touch. The pool was lovely and open late so we were able to have an evening swim one night which was gorgeous.

Our first apartment was really lovely overall but due to some maintenance issues (broken air con that couldn’t be fixed due to the Songkran holiday) we had to move to an apartment where the view and terrace were not quite as good (and we’d paid particularly for outside space and a view). In general, the maintenance could be better - there were lots of little things that were broken or missing (no pegs to hold the pool umbrellas up, missing plug hole covers, broken (but usable) toilet flush. Nothing major but for the price I would have expected a little better. It didn’t however detract from an overall lovely stay.

Location great. Residence had pool, trampoline, foosball and table tennis which is great for kids. Nice view from apartment.

Tonnes of ants, this was before we had food in the property. Guy who signed us in and out does it on his time (whereas in hotel someone is always available for check in and sign out). Do have to pay for own power, which adds to cost. Needed to ask for things that were missing when we got there (extra bed made up, towels, toilet paper etc)

The location is great—close to both Kata Beach and Karon Beach. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and even a street market nearby, which made exploring the area very convenient. The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely—always friendly and ready to help.

Unfortunately, communication with the caretaker was quite difficult, as he didn’t speak English well. Even using Google Translate didn’t help much, which led to several misunderstandings during our stay. Another downside was the presence of cockroaches and ants in the rooms and surrounding buildings. When we mentioned this, the response was rather dismissive – we were simply told that “they’re just insects,” and no real action was taken.

Very nice facility in the great location with equally 5 min walking distances to best beaches in Phuket: - Kata (less waves, shorter shoreline) and Karon (some waves and longer shoreline). Very convenient reach to the most shops and eating areas. Apartment is very spacious, clean and modern interiors, has a large balcony with natural flowers and the mountain which enjoyed every day. The pool was clean and convenient located on the roof top between the 2 parts of the premises. The residence staff was very helpful and was always ready to support us during the stay with complementary water, washing power and towels. Special appreciation to Egor and his care during our stay at these premises. The whole family is very satisfied and happy.
