Check-in was fast, and the room was clean. There were some minor deficiencies like ripped towels, no shampoo or conditioner, and lack of hangers and pillows. Also, they do not have credit card machine. They only accept a security deposit of 3000 THB in cash. I was upset at the fact that they did not have a basic payment option at first. However, I quickly learned that ot is common in Thailand. They were easy about it and told me to pay it after I get some cash the next day. We were welcomed with a fresh fruit gift bag, which included 3 mangoes, 1 dragon fruit, and a papaya. Q kata was well equipped with basic kitchen stuff as well as laundry stuff. The location was great with lots of restaurants and convenient stores close to it. Kata night market is 5 min away, and it offers a variety of street foods. This was my favorite spot to eat. At the time of check out, they calculate how much electricity we used and deduct it from the deposit. We paid 500 THB for 3 nights of stay. The kids loved trampoline, pool, and table tennis. I would be happy to return here.

Host was very helpful and prompt to give us the help we needed. The apartment had a lot of space and I definitely enjoyed that. Had all the amenities you needed for a long term stay.

The apartment furniture, especially the one made of dark wood was a bit dated and there were several light switches that were not working. Also two of the remotes in the apartment needed new batteries.

The fully stocked kitchens provided the convenience of preparing our own meals, while the cozy living areas offered comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV for relaxing evenings. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a pleasant stay even in Phuket’s warm tropical climate. One of the standout features of Q Kata Residence is its peaceful and quiet surroundings. Despite being close to the beach and lively areas, the residence provides a serene retreat where guests can unwind after a long day of exploring. The balconies, especially in the two-bedroom apartment, offered breathtaking sea views, adding a touch of luxury—particularly during sunset. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or any practical needs. Free Wi-Fi was a great bonus, making it easy to stay connected and plan activities. Overall, Q Kata Residence exceeded our expectations and provided an ideal place to stay. Whether you are traveling as a couple, with family, or in a group, this accommodation offers everything you need for a memorable and enjoyable vacation in Phuket.

The property needs some maintenance; floorboard lifted, ensuite bathroom door couldn't close. If you have sensitive hearing you can hear noise from the pub.
