The Grange Manor

A lovely place to stay, breakfast was lovely, as was the Cook House for our evening meal, all high quality service.

the cooked breakfast was super-duper. Cooks restaurant excellent too. The rooms are big & well appointed, & the location is convenient for travelling. Plenty of on site parking.

the water pressure in the sower in the morning was very weak - we stayed there before & had the same problem. Apart from that - all good.

The whole place was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and clean and the location was great.

No bedside sockets for charging phones and the shower isn’t powerful, the water just trickles out.

Breakfast in hotel good

Cooks Restaurant for dinner was poorly run and poorly staffed. Also no one behind the bar in hotel to serve drinks so we had to go to reception for them to get someone from the restaurant to come.

Only the location which was near the highway.

The reception staff was not courteous, the furniture was not clean, the carpet and the upholstery were dusty, shower pressure in the bathroom was low, basic amenities like coffee, kettle, etc were not available, there was no lift to the room. Booking.com says it's a four star hotel with which I disagree. It barely passes for 2 stars.

Staff were lovely, room very spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast.
