Apart Hotel LOFT

We arrived early, but the friendly and helpful staff allowed us to check-in early without any additional fees. The room is plenty big with enough sitting room and a fully functional kitchen. There is also a washing machine with provided detergent and a large drying rack. The AC kept the room cool despite the summer heat. The bed was big and comfortable, the WiFi worked well and the room was quiet. The property is very close to a huge mall and about 30 minutes by taxi from the city square.

The shower seemed to have a mind of its own sometimes, with it being either too hot or too cold. But really, that’s just a minor issue. We would gladly stay again. Staff didn’t really speak English but we used Google Translate to understand each other. It worked quite well. You need to remember to register your license plate if you’re bringing your own car or a rental, otherwise there might be a fee for parking. The rooms are up a flight of stairs and there is no elevator, no problem for us but keep it in mind if you need an accessible property.

We had stayed 2 days before at the start of our trip before going to the mountains. Room was comfortable and its within a 10mins walk to a mall with lots of shops and a supermarket. A good 25-30min taxi journey to the main parts of the city, however us the Yandex Go app for quick / cheap taxis. And the Yandex Maps app to get around generally, as Google Maps doesn't support Kazakhstan

We had no hot water for 2 out of 3 of the days we stayed, so cold showers weren't great. We had a hire car and the security guy at the barrier shouted at us and wouldn't let us in. Even-though we had registered our car at reception. The girl at reception did apologies and said she 'scolded him back' 😂! This kitchen was less equipped than the previous one we stayed in. I did get a T3000 / $6 fine for stains on the white towels which apparently didn't come out after the wash. It was likely make-up or my red hair dye, but still...they come out of my white towels when I was them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Staff were very responsive and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Just love technology to help us communicate when we don't speak each others language! Download the Google Translate app before you go if you don't speak Kazakh or Russian. Less than 10mins walk to a mall with a supermarket which is very convenient.

It is a little far out from everything. We spend 25-30mins each way every day in a taxi to get into the main areas. However, taxis are cheap and come quickly, don't the Yandex Go app.

the cleaning service was really really good. It was the best cleaning in my life. The staffs are very nice and the hotel was very clean. Best hotel in Almaty

The apartment was very clean, looks new, modern designed. Two rooms equipped with two AC, all kitchen tools available along with all bathroom tools. All apartments comfortable as its in first floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The area was safe and provided with security. The apartments was close to Mega Mall. We like the staying in Loft and will be great choice to come back again.

Little difficulty to get a parking, but finally you will find.

In general all was pretty good. Location Was also good. Friendly stuff on the reception and good cleaning personnel. The smell of cristal clean room after each cleaning. Very nice impressions.

Construction works had been performing in the building during our stay very close to our room. It was very loud noises everyday except weekend starting from 9-10 a.m. and ending about 1-2 p.m. little bit stuffy air in the appartments, and not very convenient to use windows because windows which are available for opening located on a big height. But in winter I suppose it might be plus, because apartment is quite warm.
