The Nook Lincoln

Lovely property very cosy and conveniently located to all of Lincoln’s best attractions. A fantastic place to stay .

Central location, balcony was lovely to sit and have a cup of tea in the morning.

I think check in at 5 is too late. However the host was great and let us check in earlier.

The cottage was a lovely quaint place with a log burner and comfortable bed in a nice part of Lincoln. Facilities were great too.

Just be wary of the steep staircase. Also at weekend there is a bar next door which can be noisy till late.

Location was perfect! Really central. My son loved the bed up the ladder. Fizz was a lovely surprise.

Right side of the bed dipped. Could have done with a coat stand and a shoe tray.

I liked the location in relation to the festival I was attending in the historical quarter. Also restaurants and shopping for food were within walking distance. So 1. Great if you don't drive 2. If you wanted to go out and enjoy an evening without driving was possible as there was plenty of choice literally on the doorstep. I think for a couple this property is perfect, a cosy get away definitely. Though due to the nature of this property being a former worker cottage, children in particular babies and toddlers aren't really suited to this kind of holiday let. The little touches like a bottle of wine, etc were a lovely treat too. David is a lovely host and I really do wish him the very best with this.

First of all this is not the fault of the owner of the Nook, just unfortunately I noticed that the immediate takeaways business (next door) greatly affected the Nook. From early in the morning (around 5 am) there was a very strong cooking smell that invaded the property and just lingered for hours. It's a real shame as The Nook is a gorgeous little property with such character. I would still stay here if it was available when I next came to Lincoln.

This little house is just outstanding for any couple planning a trip to Lincoln. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay memorable. Perfectly located for all that Lincoln has to offer.

The only one very slight niggle is that there is no parking, however there are numerous car parks nearby which, at today's prices, charge £10.95 for 24hrs but only 1 entry and exit in this time. Not really a complaint more a slight annoyance.

Lovely cosy property which had everything we needed. Extremely comfortable and homely and in a perfect location to explore Lincoln.
