GBLovely surroundings, room was pleasant, breakfast was lovely, and the chef very helpful.
On suite wasn’t too nice, some mould and cobwebs. And a black looking cover over drain hole in shower which looked quite grim.. Windows hard to open or wouldn’t! And again mouldy woodwork around them. Wasn’t sure who ran the place as didn’t really see anyone.
GBThe staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The dog was made very welcome too. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Absolutely delicious.

Needed breakfast a bit earlier but couldn't do it on the Saturday which was disappointing but spoke to chef and he did me an earlier breakfast on the Sunday which was much appreciated.

GBI have to say 10/10 on absolutely everything x from the greeting to leaving nothing is too much trouble x Andrew in the bar - his customer care is excellent/ Matthew the chef - amazing food & care for our doggies 10/10 x we will be back - you have captured our hearts (not for the ‘premier inn sterile folk but for the ones who like excellence/eccentric & just everything done right without having to ask) x Leona, Dave & doggies x

GBGBIt was a lovely, cosy pub. Everyone was so friendly, including the regulars. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing and cooked fresh to order. It was very handy being next to the small railway, less than 30 minutes to get into Whitby on the train.
GBWe stayed for a wedding down the road. Made very welcome indeed, room was warm, cosy and comfortable. Loved the pub, cracking pint of Timothy Taylor’s. Breakfast was a excellent, all cooked to order and delicious
