"Why bother with a reservation?"

I reserved a room with 2Q beds early through hotels.com and received confirmation. At check-in we were given one bed. I showed my receipt, but they said that was the only available room. Spent well over an hour “chatting” hotels.com and getting escalated (to Expedia?) only for them to blame the hotel. Of course, the hotel blamed them. Huge waste of time. I managed to get a small credit, but done booking with this app and don’t recommend.

"Housekeeping Needs Work - disappointed "

We selected LivAway Suites because we needed a food prep area and room for family to join us and we were traveling with our two dogs. The space of the room and layout suited our purposes, and I definitely appreciate a propert that accepts pets. However, upon check in we noticed the floors of the common spaces, elevator and hallway were dirty. When we entered our room we saw significant dust and dirt on floor. We thought that maybe the room hadn't been used in awhile and were ready to go along but then discovered month old milk in fridge, tons of Walmart shopping bags shoved under sink and a very dirty bathroom mirror. We requested another room and were promptly switched to another. The new room had been cleaned but still had splatter marks of some brown liquid on the blinds, lampshade and dishwasher. I knew to bring my own utensils, cutting boards, etc. but did expect a few items to make the room seem like "home" - there were only bare cupboards. There were no paper towels and only one bar of soap to use between kitchen, bathroom sink and shower. Only a small shampoo and no conditioner. For the price we paid I definitely expected more. I am also well aware that I could have paid a little more for another "suites" property that would have been far nicer. This is what we will do next time. LivAway do better!

The floor had crumbs all over it, there was no soap. The blinds fell off the wall. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all

The floors in the entire hotel looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The hallways were dirty and covered in dust bunnies. The rooms floor had many dried spills and dirt, along with piles of hair from previous guests. There was dirt in the bath tub as well as all over the counter tops. The TV area was so dusty that you could see where people had touched the handles as they were the only clean spots.

After a long day of travel, we arrived to learn that no room was available. We made a reservation six weeks before our arrival. The hotel confirmed that we had a reservation but failed to communicate any problem before we arrived.

I arrived late at 8:00pm, room not ready yet. :( Had to sit there and wait until room is finally ready at about 8:45pm. The room was not cleaned well at all. Floor needed to be swept and mopped, kitchen sink filthy, makeup on the 1 towel in bathroom, no soap or shampoo or anything in the bathroom, bed did not look professionally made (this made me nervous the sheets were not changed - but they did look clean so I will assume they were). I chose this hotel because a kitchen was advertised. There is a kitchen, however there is absolutely nothing in the kitchen - no pots/pans, utensils, not even a coffee maker. The kitchen is useless. Wifi did not work. I had booked two nights, but cancelled the second. I won't be back.

Will never stay at a Livaway again. Check-in was at 3 showed up at 3:15. Advised cleaning ladies behind and they have overbooked. Told cleaning lady working on my room be 30 min. Wasn’t able to get a room for another 3 1/2 hrs. After I lost my temper.
