This property is clean, safe and beautiful! We chose it for its close proximity to Helen, GA. There are lots of activities on site, however we had other plans and were not able to enjoy them. We hope to next time.

Some of the attractions were down

No breakfast, no cream or sugar for the one coffee pod made available to us for a 3 night stay. The grounds were nice enough although we did not use any of the facilities on the property.

Well, we booked the room on Thursday for arrival Friday, accurately stating that there would be two adults and 2 children staying there. The confirmation said there was an $8 daily resort fee included in my price. When I arrived and went to the clubhouse they were surprised to hear that none of us had any property passes. I was told I would have to pay $116 right then because we were not allowed to be there otherwise. Had I known that this extra fee would be necessary I would have simply booked another property somewhere else. I was not notified of this until FRIDAY, and was in transit at the time and did not see an email from Booking. com. Since it was a no cancellation/no refund policy I feel like I was stuck, either losing out on all my money by cancelling or having to pay up, suck it up and stay. The attendee at the clubhouse said my reservation was not done in enough time for the office to prepare my passes (24 hours) and that we all had to pay (8 per adult per day, 5 for one chlid per day) and even though we left the property on checkout at 6:10 AM I had to pay for that final day as well. Kind of ridiculous, I think, to pay for $32 for us to leave of our room, get into our car, and drive through the security gate. Also, there was no way to lock the bathroom door because the door latch was lying in the corner of the bathroom floor and I could not reattach it. Lastly, there was not ample toilet paper for our 3 night stay and we had to resort to paper towels to get by,

Everything you needed was on property. Swimming, horseback riding, store and diner.

Neighbors were a bit loud

EVERYTHING - JUST WOW What a wonderful location, fabulous staff and accommodation that felt like a home. The amount of facilities at the location and the views are simply wonderful

Shower was sub standard along with the cooker from the 1980's - forgivable due to the awesomeness of everything else.
