Central position with parking

The location was really good. The checking in and checking out process was made really easy and there were no issues throughout the whole process. The apartment, is clean, safe and quiet.

Nothing of note fell short of my expectations.

The communication from booking day until I arrive at the property was professional and almost over the top. We agreed that someone would meet me at the gate to handover the key and parking permit. That person showed me around and was quite professional. This is a block of flats, with a great central location if one needs to be around Broad Street and Birmingham Centre. It is also very quiet. The premises feel quite secure. If one opens the curtains, the view is directly on the courtyard which is not that private. The bed was very comfortable. The bedlinen and towels were clean. There is possible underground parking for £5 per night which is very good deal compared to hotels in Birmingham. The flat is overall in good condition. It was very convenient there was hand soap both in the kitchen and the bathroom.

Although everything was clean, there was an absolutely terrible smell in the flat as if one was walking into an old curry house which was not very nice. The water does not drain very well in the bath / shower. I have no mobility issues, but the bathtub which has a shower system is quite high and may not be super easily accessible for someone who is less agile or with mobility issues. The flat is overall in good condition but could not with a fresh coat of pain and cleaner carpets.

Ideally located property… I stayed for work as I don’t drive and this was ideal as a home from home where I could walk to work. Reasonably well appointed, and comfortable.

The carpets near the windows are a little threadbare / dirty and could use being replaced soon. Some mould in the bathroom - a “mould magic” product would solve this quickly. The kitchen under counter lights don’t work, and it could really use with having a colander or sieve and smaller saucepan .
