"Great property in a prime location"

The location was perfect with onsite parking at a reasonable price. It was spacious and clean. Collecting the keys was easy and the host was very accommodating.

The stairs are quite steep and felt a little bit dangerous so just take care.

"Lovely apartment"

We liked everything about the apartment. The location, we were close to the train station, bars & restaurants. Very safe & secure Car parking under the building. Very clean & comfy furniture & bed. Definitely stay again

The only thing missing is a tv in the bedroom. Then it would be perfect. (that's just me)

"Comfortable apartment in great location."

Excellent location. Spacious apartment, 2 bathrooms, underground garage, good WIFI.

Kitchen could be better equipped. There was only 1 very worn out frying pan, some plates and mugs were chipped. Dishwasher was missing cutlery basket. Some lights don’t work. Bath cover and main bathroom ventilation broken. We stayed in this apartment 2 years ago and there were the same issues. Looks like nothing was fixed since then….

"Good location- not very clean"

Good location, really close to city center. Ideal with 2 rooms and separate living space because we were travelling with kids.

Very dirty. Crockery chipped and damage in parts - they take a damage deposit, which left us feeling uneasy given the damage to lots of things already there.

"Avoid - serious mould"

The location is excellent for central Birmingham which was just what we needed.The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok.

The biggest problem in this flat was serious mould which affected our breathing after a couple of days. This is student accommodation which I wouldn’t have booked had I known. So the furniture was cheap and shabby with small damages all over and very grubby carpets but this wasn't a massive issue. The mould is behind the curtains and glass panels in front of the bedroom and lounge windows and in the plastc strip at the bottom of the shower glass. The bedroom mould means we were breathing the spores overnight. As I said it affected our breathing after two days. This is a major health issue so I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking any flat at 10 Commercial Street Birmingham until these flats have been deep cleaned..
