AJY Birmingham City Centre Viva Apartment

The apartment is in a quiet location, it is spacious and it was great to have 2 bathrooms and twin beds for the kids. The location is an easy distance from the city center and there is a Tesco and restaurants close by. We liked that there was a drying rack for clothes, because we didn't want to use the dryer. The instructions left for the dishwasher and washer/dryer were useful too.

There were a number of small things overlooked that affected the presentation of the apartment. Neither of the clocks were working, lamps had been left unplugged and there was a rip in the bed linen. The blinds were dirty and coming apart in some rooms. The kitchen was missing some basic, necessary items such as a plug for the sink, and trays for use in the oven. One of the knives was about to fall apart. All of these things gave the apartment a shabbier presentation than expected, and made it feel less welcoming.

This is not the apartment we got as we were changed at the last minute. The one we got was a good sized space.

It was old, worn and dirty.

Great location with parking in central Birmingham

Kitchen could have been better equipped, fridge was difficult to open as door was broken, back door on to terrace did not open.

Location was great. Apartment was clean on the whole. Response to queries were fast and clear.

Pictures were nicer than reality. Wear and tear of apartment visible and is time for carpet to be replaced. Beddings found in sofabed could have been cleaner.

This apartment was perfectly situated for us , close to all amenities and still in quiet area .

It was quite, gated yard, great location. Washing machine was very important for us. Kitchen had all essentials. Thumbs up for tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen

Flat was rundown, the bed was narrow (1,40 for a couple) and I convinient, the blanket was from plastic and very sweaty. In the bathroom there were two identical bottles with different liquids: one greenish transparent and one white and thick. For real, I had to experiment to understand what is what.

Excellent location a short distance from the train station and directly adjacent to Mailbox and walk along the canal to bars, restaurants and Utilita Arena. Parking option was also great and extremely reasonably priced for city centre. Would definitely stay again.
