Broadway’s Canterbury City Escape

Good location. Easy to get in. Large balcony. One of the bedrooms is spacious. Two bathrooms.

Sadly this was a disappointing stay. Everything was very cheap quality (pillows, linen, towels, pans, cutlery bent when using it!). There was only 4 of everything (plates, glasses etc) which was annoying when cooking for 4 people. General cleanliness was not good. Oven tray had been used and not washed. Kettle had lots of limescale. Mould in bathroom. Walls need painting etc. Second bedroom disappointing. Very small - double bed pushed up against the wall. We pulled it away so we could both get in, and the floor was so dirty down the side. Bed sheet had a blood stain on it. Bed was topped with a thick mattress topper which wasn't attached to the bed, so it kept moving in the night. No bedside light. No plug point by the bed. Curtains were pointless - basically see through. Lift was broken for our entire stay and we weren't told about this - difficult when you've got cases and bags. Under counter lights in kitchen didn't work. Check out instructions weren't clear. One line buried in initial check in email which we missed as we checked in at 10pm at night. We left keys on kitchen table on exit as we didn't realise they had to be returned to the lockbox and got a rude text asking us to check out now at 10.20am as we had overstayed (we left at 10am). Overall, this could be a nice place but it really needs some love and attention, and some money spent on it.

The location is good. The flat was fairly clean.

The furniture is worn out.

Excellent location, very comfortable flat with a lovely balcony. Accepting pets. Tea and coffee offered.

The elevator is a bit confusing :-)

Excellent location easy walk into centre Enjoyed having use of a balcony although in need of some TLC and overlooking a dissused factory site ! Great to have a parking space once parked up we never moved the car Having a bathroom and an ensuite was very handy too

As in previous reviews the apartment is maybe ready for a refresh as in decorating ,beds and bedding ,sofa And a few general repairs here and there

Location excellent for walking into Canterbury plus nearby supermarket. Car parking highly satisfactory (unless you have a very large car which we don't). Good lift.

Garage dirty. Some minor damage in apartment - broken door handles, missing sink plugs etc. One shower too hot and not adjustable so we used the second bathroom shower which was fine. With these problems fixed the apartment would be excellent

The apartment was ideally located. Beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and there was a generous supply of toiletries. The balcony being an extra bonus

People need to be told that shower water gets very hot.

Lovely place to stay. Short distance to the centre. Very clean and quiet.

The apartment was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. It was a 10-minute walk from high street, so once we had parked the car in our allocated parking bay, it was not needed again until we came home.

The shower to the on suite was so hot, even on the coldest setting..
