Stylish Retreat Inside City Walls

Location brilliant as everything in walking distance. Lovely house. Everything you needed was there. Lovely handwash. Kind gesture leaving chocolate and prosecco.

I loved the mix of modern convenience and beautiful period charm. The bathroom upstairs in particular was gorgeous and the huge bath and shower a real luxury. The beds were all comfortable and the system for getting in worked well. The location was excellent, allowed us to get in and out by train and do all our sightseeing on foot easily. The radiators were fantastic. It got very cold while we were there but the house was beautifully warm when we arrived and throughout our stay.

The stairs are definitely a period feature and needed to be dealt with carefully. Probably not a place for anyone with mobility issues or young children.

Location and facilities

Check out time on Sunday at 10.00 am is too early. Could do with a couple of more wineglasses and proper beer glasses

Excellent location, quite neighbourhood.

Webs and spiders could have been cleaned before arrival, didn't look good at all.

The property is well equipt and very close to everything , all walking distance.

There is nothing not to like about the property the only thing negative about it is the host do not reply to messages. I have sent a request if we could check in early, I would understand if it is not possible but could have at least sent me a reply.

Steep stairs could be a problem for some people but we loved the flat
