Sunset Beach Resort Aqua Lettings

The lovely lady promised to do her best when I asked to place us in a ground floor apartment as my mum has a walking difficulties- and they did. Also they waited for us till late( I informed in advance about arrival time). So thank you very much for this! Also really liked the whole vibe of the place- quiet, so close to the sea-1-2 minutes walk, you can cook barbecue on a balcony or meal in the kitchen (frying pans need to be replaced though). Or there is a cafe/restaurant right near the beach. Also there is a shop with essentials.

The bathroom/shower requires upgrading, but it steel works fine, just looks/feels a bit dated and not very clean now. The extra bed was not suitable for a purpose- turning in it causes fall to the ground. But the sofa was quite comfy, so for 3 nights we were ok without extra-bed. Just warning not to rely on extra-bed too much, especially for an adult (maybe it’s ok for a small child , not sure).

Pool and surrounding

Arrived at the gate and we carried our luggage all way long from gate to reception (long path, no one is there to help us) and then all way back from reception to our rooms which is at the end of the compound while the gate was at the front. No one was at the reception we had to wait 20 mins till the guy arrives to meet us and give us the key. Bed sheets weren’t clean, it was like another guest before was sleeping there and they put the same sheets after they left. Water boiler was dirty from inside. Dining chairs seats bad condition. We were given extra sofa bed as requested but they didn’t provide linen and sheets for it. So we had to sleep 3 persons in one queen bed. We didn’t use the extra bed due to that.

the villa and pool both were great and great location next to sea side, staff were responsive very quickly to all queries, no faults with this place will definitely book again

Being out of town and having to walk 20mins into town or catch the bus every night. The bus was only 53p though

The apartment was very spacious but there was only two of us In the party. Aqua lettings were very good and sorted out the problems we had with the apartment very quickly. The dolmus stop is right outside. The air conditioning was excellent.

We felt the accomadtion was tired. The outside of the building and the gardens are very well maintained l. We rented lighthouse 42 and I would say the apartment needed a revamp.The bathroom was dated, full of ants and unclean, with even dirty towels left in the washing basket. The bed was comfy, but the sheet didn't fit! The apartment was not very clean, some of the blinds were hanging off, and the balcony was dirty. We did speak to others who said there apt was fine, so I guess it depends on which one you get. The complex is a good 20-minute walk from town and not just an easy stroll along the beachfront. The pool area is nice but again the area needed cleaning, lots of sunbeds are broken and the same on the beach. Again tired and dated. We expected a better standard for the £925 it cost for a weeks rental. The insite restaurant is expensive.

Nice spacious apartment, clean and well equipped. Nice swimming pools and private beach area the grounds are well kept.

Could have done with at least one cleaning and fresh towels and bed sheets.
